This beautiful rare low mileage quality Motorhome we have to sell as she is not geting used as it needs to be. She drives perfectly with light steering ( not light when standing still but not difficult) and luxury comfortable ride with new Air suspension. although a perfect travelling mobile home she is a perfect live in home too.
Can sleep 2 adults in easy pull down large double bed and 3 or more in large double bed covered easily from the seating for 6 (7 or 8 as the passenger seats swivels) in the living area. Classed as 5/6 berth. This is amazing for sleeping in as the pull down double bed can be left made up in day for travelling or on site and pulled down ready to sleep in 5 seconds with ease at a moments notice. This motorhome is so well designed is spacious inside but not a long vehicle to drive-Feels very much like a car to drive but with a high /great vision seating position. Has reversing camera fitted wirelessly but buyer will need to acquire a monitor if they don't have anything compatible to use it..
Although many thousands of pounds have been spent in last 3 years, ( we have lots of receipts) she has only travelled less than 2000 miles in that time. Has stainless steel roof rack plus stainless ladder. Comes with quality 2 bike rack plus spare replacement parts.
Has too much to list but no timing belt so no need to change etc. as it has a timing chain only. Passenger seat swivels right round, has quality venetian blinds acrylic glazed windows-with reflective thermal insulation pads for cab, fly screens, marine flushing toilet with easy outside emptying, has porch light outside door, Roll out awning, stable door.
Included in the sale is a brand new never fitted Satellite system for TV etc. (value about £175)
Fridge freezer is also virtually brand new- only used for about 2 weeks on and off.
The night hot blow air heater although works perfectly off Gas- can be run off 240 volt and this was replaced new by the previous owner and so is virtually brand new. This has vents that BLOW INTO THE LIVING AND KITCHEN AREA PLUS HEAT FROM THE FRONT OF THE HEATER.
Has many cupboards a wardrobe and lots of storage inside plus 2 storage locked compartments outside.
The body and cab are close to excellent with only a few minor scratches/blemishes etc.- this a rare aerodynamic shaped roof motorhome. I haven't seen another so streamlined and that teamed with the genuine less than 45,000 miles makes this one of the rarest and presented Motorhome of its age class etc. I forgot to mention- it has a table that fits on one side between the two sets of seat- plus across the isle you have a full settee that seats 4. There are other fold down tables that can also be lifted for use at the same time. With the pull down double bed etc. this motorhome really is a Tardis.
To describe the bathroom- this has built in handbasin in corner ,built in toilet and shower area that a shower screen be drawn. This is not a pull down sink with porta loo- as many vans have- it looks and works like a normal bathroom but without a bath (and Smaller :))
She starts first time every time- despite our recent freezing mornings, which may have been the coldest and iciest mornings this year in Brighton- (It felt like it was) - I turned the key and instantly the engine burst into life same as always.
All of the windows are security etched with registration number to as a deterrent for light fingered friends.
Being a Petrol engine motorhome - this is LEZ (London Emission Zone ) compliant . If not one would have to pay £100 each time to enter the London zone.We had a few enquiries about condition. For a 28 plus year old Motorhome is in excellent condition, with a few blemishes /minor war wounds-such as slight scratches etc. that you would expect for an original motorhome but is a very straight and original vehicle. People who see it often remark on its appearance. The colour I have been told is one of the more popular colours. Please view if you can, as beauty is in the eye of the beholder :)

I think you can see however that the cab paintwork is very nice and shiny. From 5 meters away the cab really does look like new. The paint finish is high quality and except for the areas mentioned and looks amazing.. The photos don't really do it justice..
The picture of the double bed is not a good reflection of it- as the bed comes down lower and is very big-it does show the strong spring loading mechanism however. It just gives you some idea.
To summarise- This is a 2 litre petrol -very low mileage Motorhome (Talbot PILOTE IS RENOWNED FOR ITS QUALITY) with quiet and nippy responsive petrol engine -5 speed manual gear box that drives wonderfully. The only MOT advisory at end September was only Nearside Front Front wheel bearing has slight play and Central Front Vehicle structure has slight corrosion. amazing condition in and out for a 28 year old beauty. Only 2 minor spots of rust as the cab was repainted professionally some time back and the home shell is aluminium- so does not rust as non-ferris. Has new Air-suspension so appears to glide along- so comfortably.
5 new tyres recently fitted including spare and new alternator.
We would not be selling but for the fact thatâ€‹ we are planning on moving abroad so don't wish to leave her sitting and not being used. tax is only £240 per year. This being petrol is free to enter London emission zone unlike most diesel motorhomes which cost £100 per entry.
